Contestants must meet the following criteria:
Be a resident of the Oklahoma between the ages of 21 to 60
Be a US citizen
Be a resident of Oklahoma for at least 6 months
Must utilize a wheelchair for 100% of their daily community mobility.
Marital status is not a consideration.
Young women between 14 and 20 years old meeting the same criteria may compete for the Jr. Miss Wheelchair Oklahoma.
Young women between 5 and 13 years old meeting the same criteria may compete for the Little Miss Wheelchair Oklahoma.
